I was very disappointed in my experience yesterday with the service department. I had such a pleasant time purchasing my car with Kevin Lopez, that I had high hopes for a similar experience. The gentleman who checked me and my car in at 11:15 was very friendly and timely. He had asked me what I was bringing my car in for today, and I said it was for my blower system in my car. I mentioned it was either just flat out not working or that it needed a new one installed. He told me he would pass the info along, and I went to my friend’s car (my ride home) and went home until she had to go to work. I asked her to drop me back off at the service department. It was around 2pm. I didn’t expect my car to be ready once I got there, because I assumed it was going to be up to a 3-4 hr job. So I made myself comfortable in the waiting area, after I spoke to the woman at the desk who informed me my car was in-fact not ready. While I was waiting, I had another gentleman come in and ask me the same questions that I had been asked when I dropped off my car. I thought it was odd, but an answered politely anyway. He informed me my car has not even made it into be inspected, and he would be back within the hour to have an update for me. I told him thank you, and started to catch up on my missed episodes on my show. I watched 3 45min episodes, and not a word from anyone. By now its near 4:30 I went back up to the woman and asked again if she had any possible updates, and she told me that they would come and get me once there were. She told me she had informed them I was waiting. I said thank you, and asked for the restroom. I was stopped by the second gentleman that spoke to me today. He informed me that they do not have my blower system part in inventory. He told me that it needed to be ordered and that they would call me once it came in. Unhappy at the news I was hearing, I still politely said thank you went to the restroom. He told me my car would be pulled around and just a moment. Which I then went back into the waiting room for nearly another half an hour before I see my vehicle pulling up towards the building. I walk towards the entrance to wait for my turn to get my keys to my car, and hopefully and estimated time on how long it would be before the part came in. But all I got was an apology and a handshake, and was told my keys were in my car. It’s nearing the colder days. I have to drive to and from work in the dark. Not to mention, when I made this purchase on this car around 3 weeks ago, I was told the part had been ordered, and that I was soon get an appointment confirmation. (Which was yesterday). Ive been 3 weeks without air, heat, a fan, or defrost. I understand that things can happen, but the lack of communication in the service department is very aggravating. I’m really hoping to have a phone call from the service department very soon about my blower system FINALLY arriving.

Everything about the experience was positive other than 3 things. 1) Mileage on paperwork said 30, when really it was over 3000 miles 2) Wait time to sign paperwork. They knew I was coming in at 6pm, but then didn't start signing until 7:30. A bit frustrating! 3) I got it home, and then the back hatch won't open automatically.
It was fine. It just took longer than I expected and for what it cost, I will be looking for more affordable options next time.
